Tungsten products are ideal for adding weight to flies, allowing them to sink quickly to the bottom. Thanks to tungsten's high density, which is 1.7 times greater than lead, flies sink more efficiently. Additionally, tungsten's hardness ensures that surface finishes adhere well and remain durable.
The smaller slot on these beads increases their weight compared to beads with larger slots, further enhancing the fly’s sinking speed. Their compact shape also makes tying easier, as the beads fit more securely on the hook. They are perfect for tying flies on standard hooks but may not be suitable for very heavy-duty hooks.
